We currently have many exciting and developmental assignments – and want to complement our urban planning department in Stockholm with you – someone who, like us, is passionate about urban planning and long-term sustainability.

We are looking for you who want to lead assignments within strategic planning. As an experienced planning architect with us, you will have a central role in our projects. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, be responsible for client dialogues, and contribute to a creative and interdisciplinary environment.

Within Norconsult Urban Planning, we are today over 30 employees who together drive assignments across Sweden. We work broadly within urban planning with strategic planning – such as comprehensive plans, local plans (FÖP), and location investigations, renewal analyses, detailed planning, planning programs, early stages, and social sustainability. The breadth and diversity within the company give the team a unique capacity as societal planners. We have specialists in areas such as social sustainability, cultural heritage, and agricultural land. For example, we participate in the work of developing a new comprehensive plan for Ekerö Municipality and Jokkmokk Municipality.

You will become part of an engaged team where you, together with colleagues, help develop the business and influence the inflow of assignments. Norconsult's broad competence and established collaborations between different technical areas give you good opportunities to work integratively on complex urban planning issues. The role involves great variation and the opportunity to work in different types of assignments and stages.

Your Profile

You are a skilled process leader, have a special touch for layout work, and formulate well-written reports. You are a proficient user of the Adobe suite and have good knowledge of GIS analyses and Storymaps, as well as dialogue work and process leadership.

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in planning, architecture, or equivalent at bachelor's or master's level
• At least 10 years of experience in strategic planning, where you have been responsible for and developed comprehensive plans, local plans (FÖP), and specific area plans (TÖP)
• Experience from working in consulting or municipal roles, with an understanding of assignment-driven operations
• Experience leading assignments with good results
• Business acumen, great engagement, and good responsiveness
